Jacqueline Fernandez hails from Manama in Bahrain. She was raised within a multiethnic household. Her father, Elroy Fernandez is a an Sri Lankan. As a teenager, she played badminton in National level competitions. She later resigned her profession in sports in order to be a fashion model. Padukone's mother tongue is Konkani. The model is Mangalorean by origin. Padukone is located in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi in Karnataka State in India is where her ancestry comes from.
