Allana played in Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries forced her to go through a number of seasons without playing before switching to the Rugby League. Allana was a star in the team of New South Wales during her first women's Rugby League match against Queensland, which she participated in the 2015 season. Allana has also added radio to her repertoire making regular appearances with the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana does not only a sporty person and a teacher, but has also earned a the degree of an educator, has an extensive background beyond sports. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three sports: Rugby sevens (rugby league) as well as touch rugby union. Ferguson was 25, and was able to tear her ACL on the same place at ages age 15-17, and then 20. Following a third tear, she realized that it was now time for an end.
